Hello Dave,
I’ve been listening to all of the past podcasts thinking to myself, “I’ll send in our music after I’ve listened to all of the DruidCasts.” Well guess what? Today I listened to DruidCast 41. You mentioned that there are people writing in to the show asking why you don’t play more heavy metal or other genres besides folk. You said you play what is sent to you, and folk just happens to be what people are sending in. Then you said something that made me decide to wait no more… you’d love to play other genres, but you need people to send it to you! Well, that’s why I’m sending you this email along with an MP3 of one of our songs “The Emptiness”. It’s a song about the Sidhe. We hope you enjoy it and we really hope you play it.
Most of our music is about digging deep and facing our subtleties. Realizing and learning the magic within us is a huge part of it. Especially after one experiences the dark night of the soul, after we are dragged through the dirt by the dark goddess until we wake up to the wonders that await us… right here… within each one of us.

On another note, I love DruidCast. LOVE IT. I’ve learned so much. I hope to one day take the OBOD course and become a member, but for now I’m working on my own keeping in mind this quote “The world is not in books and maps, it’s out there.” You probably know which famous book that’s from!
